  3. Schedule in person sessions at one of our locations. Telehealth is available if not able to travel.
  4. TWR counseling is designed for focused therapy on trauma and moral injury. Some would say that it is not for the faint of heart. It won't be fun, but it's worth it to leave behind PTS behaviors, anger, and negative beliefs.
  5. Schedules are flexible due to working with rotating shift workers, underways, TDY's and deployments.
  6. Plan up to two months of every other week sessions, or two to three days of  3-6 hour intensives.
  7. Then plan for monthly check ins for four months.
  8. Followed by as needed, text for tune ups, type of sessions.

Tailwinds Testimonials

As a member of the SOF community, I’d searched for answers and solutions to resolve my guilt, shame and doubt as a result of my time deployed. My professional and personal life suffered severely as my moral compass began to drift further and further away. My ability to tell right from wrong was lost. I did horrific and regrettable things that I never imagined I was capable of. Michelle guided me back onto a path of understanding, empathy and trust that helped me resolve moral injury and PTSD. I’m a better person having met her.  - A former service member

I don’t really know how to explain it. I suffered from PTSD and moral injury for years with no end in sight despite getting treatment and care through my command. Everyday felt dark and full of uncertainty. I couldn’t trust anyone and felt perpetually on edge and alert. I was spiraling downward until I found Tailwinds. After only a few sessions with Michelle, I began to feel better. Within a month I had completely turned the corner and dedicated my life back to my family and friends. I can’t believe what she did for me, as well as the other service members that I’ve met at Tailwinds Ranch. She has the rare ability to listen without judgement, and bring those who were once lost back to a productive and happy life. I’m certain that without her help, I would not be alive today to write this.  - A combat veteran
